Dwyer School Dances :

Dear Parents,

Dwyer School is sponsors dances throughout the year. School dances are held on Thursday evenings between the hours of 5:00pm & 7:00pm in the Dwyer cafeteria.

The price of a ticket is $3.00.

Tickets to the dance will be sold in the cafeteria during lunches on the three (3) days prior to the day of the dance.

NO tickets will be sold the day of the dance.

NO tickets will be sold at the door prior to the dance.

A student is eligible to purchase a dance ticket if he/she has receive NO MORE THAN (2) "N" grades in citizenship and NO "U" grades in citizenship for the reporting quarter preceding the dance or has lost his/her privileges due to visit to ALC.

The student who purchases the ticket is the student who should attend the dance. NO tickets should be purchased for, given to, or otherwise used by student who did not personally purchase the ticket.

If a ticket is lost, misplaced, forgotten, or damaged and is unavailable at the door to the dance, the student WILL NOT BE admitted to the dance EVEN IF a parent accompanies the student to the dance.

Enter the cafeteria through the door on 14th Street. Do not enter through the stairs, hallway or amphitheater.

Students must wear soft-soled shoes.

Normal school rules and dress code, including no hats, are enforced. School consequences for violations will be in effect in situations in which students display poor behavior or are dressed inappropriately, a parent will be called to pick up their child.

Once admitted to the dance, no student is permitted to leave the cafeteria before 7:00pm.

Students must be picked-up PROMPTLY at 7:00pm TO ENSURE THEIR SAFETY.

NO student is admitted without a signed permission slip and student I.D. card.
